Barre is a 50-minute full body workout for students of all ages and all levels. You’ll experience a mix of the fun, upbeat music of Zumba, the balance of yoga, the strength of Pilates, and the detailed movements of ballet. Barre is a toning workout that engages muscles with high-reps and low-impact movements, using exercise balls, blocks and hand weights. Barre is done barefoot to help improve our posture, balance and strength.
This beginner series will break down the movements into different sections that focus on 4 major muscle groups: arms/upper body, legs, core, and glutes. If you’ve been curious about barre, but feel intimidated by this new workout, this series is for you! We’ll ensure you feel confident and comfortable in class while also building strength.
