In this workshop we will explore the subtleties of muscle connection and strength. Free the hips, the spine and the mind! This class is a smart blend of Somatic movement, Yoga and myofascial release sequenced to encourage core strength, flexibility and range of motion. We will explore 40-minutes of strength and flexibility in a creative flow at a comfortable pace, then 20-minutes of deep release using foam rollers, massage balls, and/or other props. Over time, this approach will aid in creating more energy, freedom and ease in the body, mind and spirit.
About Haley: Haley’s background in somatics, yoga, mindfulness and dance allows for a dynamic experience that aides in the compassionate observation of where you are at with breath, stability and strength, while moving towards better alignment, length, and strength. Haley has a 200 RYT training, 40 Hours of somatic and melt method from Broadway Studios in New York City, and taught mindfulness in Acadia National Park for over 2 years. I want students to walk away from these classes feeling confident, holding self compassion, and the ability to feel good about their bodies wherever they are at in their journey of healing and aging.
